Boostmygrades is a "tutoring service" that opened its doors in 2015. Still, the website looks like it was created in the early 2000s with poor design choices and a horrendous user experience.

Once you log into your account, you will have to submit a query every time you want any information on your order, cart, or balance. I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I saw this system.

It took me a couple of tries to guess which option to choose to get the info I needed. This company made me work hard for the money I paid, even though it was supposed to be the other way around.

Customer support

"Is Boostmygrades legit?" you ask me. If I say that their support agents work Sunday through Thursday between 9 AM and 3 AM, will it answer your question?

Fun fact: I couldn't get in touch with anyone via live chat or contact number, even on a Thursday afternoon. I guess we work on different calendars.

My experience

Before I go any further with my Boostmygrades review, I want you to know that I hated every minute spent on this website. It's ugly, slow, and stupid. I had trouble every step of the way, from registration to payment and paper download.

I might seem a little dramatic, but once you read the full account, you will understand why I am still mad about this so-called "tutoring service" weeks after dealing with it.

Order form

After I found my way to the order form, I filled four required fields: description, course, education level, and type. Even though the order seemed strange, I was glad to see the form was so concise. That was before I got to the second step where I had to input the deadline and the number of pages.

"Due in the next 24 hours?" is such a fun option! I guess specifying the submission date is not enough to answer this question when you work for Boostmygrade.

After I'd wasted half an hour to figure out how this website works, I could finally see the price.

Discounts and pricing

I ordered a 3-page-long argumentative essay with seven days to spare. Can you guess the Boost My Grades cost? It was $82! An outrageous sum for a company that can't be bothered to create a functioning website and user dashboard.

I'm not sure what their pricing policy is, because there is no information on average rates anywhere on the site, even in the customer area.

If you go looking for a Boost My Grades coupon, Reddit and social media are your best bet. I noticed an offer for 10% off for first-time clients who pay upfront. However, there was no actual code attached.

The website advised me to ask support managers for a discount, but you already know I had no luck getting in touch with them.

Revisions

I asked the writer to rework the essay and provided detailed explanations about the issues I'd found. In a few hours, I got the same paper with a couple of mistakes corrected, but no significant changes. I couldn't waste more time on more revisions and had to redo the work.

When I researched Boostmygrades Refund Policy, I laughed so hard, I nearly cried. They promise to return the money if their solutions "are found to be beyond a reasonable level of correctness." Do you need any other proof of how serious they are about upholding their satisfaction guarantee?

Final quality

The vacuum in place of Boost My Grades reviews should have been my first clue, but morbid curiosity is my middle name, and I just had to try out this service.

Despite the one revision I squeezed out of the writer, the paper remained horrible. It was an unstructured mess with no logical flow, no transitions, but most importantly - no thesis statement.

It was anything but an essay, but the writer did not understand my comments and claimed all my instructions had been followed. We agreed to disagree.

Writer's proficiency

Boostmygrades is stingy with information on their business. I don't remember finding any facts about their writers, so I have only my experience to go on. And I don't think the person working on my order was a native English speaker.

I also have my doubts about the writer possessing any experience with academic writing. I don't believe all of their tutors possess college degrees and understand what research is.

Despite the ability to communicate with the writer directly, you are unlikely to get good results.

People talking

People might talk, but they aren't taking their praise or complaints online if you can believe it. I found no dirt on this company on either Trustpilot or SiteJabber, but that's because there were no reviews.

My Boostmygrades Reddit search was equally useless. And isn't it strange for a company that has been around for nearly five years to have no feedback, either good or bad?

I took my chances with Boostmygrades BBB page, as the company promotes itself as an American business. After a fruitless search, I started doubting this claim, especially when I noticed the website had no address or other contact information aside from the phone number.

Loyalty program

I guess you would have to ask support managers for regular customer discounts because there is no promo code field in the order form. Whether you can contact the support team in the first place is anyone's guess. I didn't even get a first-tome client discount, and I won't be sticking around for another go.
